About The Author

Luana Ehrlich Web 1_edited-2

Luana picked up her first adult spy novel when she was eleven years old. Today, she continues to have a passion for the thriller/suspense genre of fiction. In addition to being an avid reader, she is also a news fanatic, following events around the world on a daily basis, particularly the Middle East.

Luana is an award-winning author, minister’s wife, and former missionary who has lived in Norman, Oklahoma since 1994. Previously, she resided in several states in the  Midwest. Along with her husband, she also served as a missionary in Costa Rica and Venezuela.

Occasionally, she reports on the experiences of newly converted Christians for Baptist Press, a national news service for Baptists. At one time, she wrote a weekly column for The Indiana Baptist, entitled “A Story To Tell,” which told the stories of ordinary people who became followers of Christ. Luana is a member of the American Christian Fiction Writers.

Luana was the recipient of the 2017 Oklahoma Book Award for fiction for the third book in the Titus Ray Thriller Series, Three Weeks in Washington and was a finalist in the Carol Awards from the American Christian Fiction Writers for her fourth book in the series, Four Months in Cuba.

She began her series of Titus Ray novels when her husband retired from the pastorate. Now, she writes from an undisclosed location, trying to avoid the torture of mundane housework, grocery shopping, and golf stories. However, she occasionally comes out of hiding to visit with her two grandsons or to enjoy a Starbucks caramel macchiato.

The Mylas Grey Mystery Series is the second series of books written by Luana for the Christian fiction mystery/suspense/thriller genre. You can read more about Mylas Grey Mysteries on this website.

Read all three thrillers, and anxiously awaiting Book 4 – when Titus will be in Cuba to rescue Ben.
The habit of reading one chapter of Psalms and one chapter of John that Titus employed to bring him closer to God and Jesus was one that I have adopted recently. Initially, I was reading Proverbs 31 Ministries messages and other Christian books. I have even used children’s versions about the Bible to help me have a better understanding of it. Keep up the good work.

The New Year is always a good time to begin the habit of reading the Bible daily, and I love hearing how you’ve been willing to try new ways of exploring His Word. You too keep up the good work!

      Blessings,
      Abiding in Him,
      Luana
